The breezy beach dress is a modern looking crochet cover up. The nature of the pattern keeps it light and airy for when you're in hotter climates and just need something to chuck on whilst you get yourself another cocktail!

This easy crochet pattern is suitable for all levels, from beginner to expert. You need to know basic skills such as double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitch, working in the round.

This crochet pattern is suitable for ANY SIZE!! It's been written with instructions for any shape / size and you can also use any cotton yarn and any hook size. In the photos, one dress has been made with worsted weight yarn and one has been made with sport weight yarn. All details are included in the pattern.

- Size 2, 3 or 4 cotton yarn (sport, dk or worsted). The amount
you need will vary greatly depending on the yarn and the size you make.
Because the pattern has been written in a way that makes each dress
bespoke to you, every dress will be completely unique so I can't recommend
yarn yardages unfortunately. However, as a reference I used 375m of
worsted weight yarn.

- A crochet hook that is 1.5mm larger than the hook size recommended for your
yarn. For example, on the sport weight dress, the yarn recommends using a
2.5mm hook so I went up by 1.5mm and used a 4mm hook. On the worsted
weight dress the yarn recommended a 4.5mm hook so I used a 6mm hook.
