A gorgeous tea cosie and matching egg cosie, that’s sure to brighten your day and is a lovely gift to give. This colourful cosie is worked in 8 ply and needs one main colour with two contrast colours, plus oddments of leftover yarn for the embroidered petals. This is a great weekend project for any knitter using knit and purl stitches. The tea cosie is made from two pieces of knitting with bobbles. The bobbles form the centre of the flowers. The petals around the bobbles are large chain stitches. A great way to use small amounts of yarn left over from other projects.
The tea cosies featured are approx 18 cm, & fit a 4 to 6 cup, or a 1 to 1.5 litre teapot.
