Details
Sherwood is a vintage cloche style hat with a unique reversible brim. An updated take on the “Robin Hood” hat so popular in the 1930s, Sherwood has Celtic flair and a vintage feel. The cabled band is knit separately using a provisional cast on, then grafted into a double-sided brim. Stitches are picked up along the brim and knit with basic decreases to shape the crown. A large decorative button holds the cloche brim in place on one side.
The double brim will keep you surprisingly cozy in the winter, while the stylish silhouette makes this a great hat for dressing up or down. Choose a neutral green for a traditional Robin Hood look, or try this cloche in a bright tweed.
