This knitting pattern has been carefully tested in advance.

This sleeveless cardigan is an ideal extra layer over your clothes when it gets colder. You knit it with Katia Alaska and knitting needles 6.0 mm, which makes it fly off your needles. This cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. You knit the front and back in one piece and sew/crochet the shoulder seams closed afterwards. You knit the border in the armholes afterwards by picking up stitches.
The pattern contains two options for the pockets: these can be knitted directly into the cardigan or they can be knitted separately afterwards and sewn onto the cardigan. The pattern contains embroidery drawings of flowers, which you can embroider onto your cardigan afterwards.

This corresponds to the sizes for children from 1 year – (2 years) – 3 years – (4 years) – 5 years – (6 years) – 7 years – (8 years).

Recommended knitting needles
5.5 mm (half a size smaller than the knitting needles used to measure the swatch)
6.0 mm (or the size knitting needles with which the swatch was stitched)

Stitch gauge
10 cm = 14.5 stitches in stockinette stitch (odd needles are knit, even needles are purl)
10 cm = 20 needles
