SKELBO - a quite spacious slightly short cardigan worked in cables and herringbone alternately according to chart. Worked buttom up. Modified drop-shoulder sleeves worked from top to cuff. The cardigan is buttoned down with an overlay in a kind of "double-breasted" way. Accurate written pattern.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3↑.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as inches.

Measurements of the garment:
Bust: 98 cm - 106 cm - 114 cm - 122 cm (in: 38.5 - 41.75 - 44.75 - 48)
Length: 57 cm - 59 cm - 61 cm - 64 cm (in: 22.5 - 23.25 - 24 - 25.25) or as desired
Yarn: this design applies for a 2ply Jumper Weignt wool, 50 g = ca. 210 meters.
The original model was made in 2ply Jumper Weight Shetlandsuld, 100 % wool from Jamieson and Smith, Lerwick, Shetland Isles.
Needles: and circular needles (or double pointed) no 2.25, 2.5 mm and 3 mm.
Tension/gauge in pattern (washed sample): 28 sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
