Endless Peaks Cushion

The overlay mosaic technique was used for the Endless Peaks cushion. In this technique, you crochet each round with a different color. To create the mosaic pattern, you crochet double crochets in the front loops of the underlying rounds. Because these are on the work, this method is called overlay crochet.

The cushion is crocheted in the round, so you can easily change color each round and you do not have a large amount of threads that need to be worked away. How to do this is explained with step-by-step photos.

Choose two colors that have a good contrast, so that the pattern is clearly visible.

Do you want to use this pattern to crochet a blanket? That is of course also possible. At the end of the pattern you will find a brief description of how to do this.

The cushion that I crocheted is suitable for an inner cushion 45 x 45 cm. The pattern clearly describes how to adjust this to any desired size.

My pillow is crocheted with Novita Aura (50gr/80m/100% cotton) and crochet hook 4.5 mm. I used 5 balls of both colors (5x color 1601/honesty and 5x color 0021/healing). But of course you can crochet it with any yarn you want.
