In this crochet pattern you will learn how to crochet a type of ivy decoration that you... can use for anything. When I first made my crazy little leaf, I knew I wanted to make it into a crown at some point - I just couldn't find the right yarn for it. I wanted it to look sweet and precise, not too chunky, but the yarns I tested for it didn't work with it. Until I found the solution: better to use thread than yarn. Two threads of embroidery floss, and then you get a very cool ivy crown. Also make it? Materials: Yarn: #10 cotton yarn – You will need two balls of either the same color or two nicely matching colors, because you work this pattern with two threads all the time. The photos below are made with "normal" cotton, but you crochet it with two threads of embroidery floss for the crown! Crochet hook: 2.25 mm crochet hook (if you can find one, otherwise a 2 mm or 2.5 mm is also okay)
