"Simply in red” striped baby blanket

Make this sweet crochet blanket in beautiful shades of red, orange and pink for your own little one. This is also a perfect homemade birthday or baby shower gift for a little girl.
The great stitch pattern looks difficult, but it is very simple and so fun to make. The blanket is made with 5 bright colors of cotton yarn using the basic crochet stitches; it’s easy enough for a beginner too.

Finished size: approx. 65cm/26” wide x 88cm /33” long
Skill Level: Easy

Material:
- Medium weight cotton yarn (100% Cotton; 125 m [137 yds] / 50g, 100%). You will need 10 balls yarn in total (100% cotton, ca.125m/50g), two in each of next colors: Fuchsia, Red, Coral, Peach and Orange.

Crochet hook: 3.5 mm (US E/4)

You can also use any other cotton or medium weight yarn (3 or light in the USA; DK or 8 ply in the UK, 8 ply in Australia).
