“Blue dreams” baby blanket

This cozy, colorful blanket would be a great homemade baby shower gift. The simplicity of color striping in fresh, modern design makes this lovely, very simple and quick pattern a perfect beginner project.

The blanket is made in a traditional arcade stitch with 3 colors cotton yarn. Only what you need to know are just a few simple crochet stitches (chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet).

Finished size: approx. 100 cm / 40 inch long x 75 cm / 30 inch wide
Skill Level: Easy

Material:
- Medium weight cotton yarn (100% Cotton; 125 m [137 yds] / 50g, 100%).
In total you will need 15 balls, five balls each in next colors: white, light turquoise and turquoise.

Crochet hook: 3.5 mm (US E/4)

You can also use any other cotton or medium weight yarn (3 or light in the USA; DK or 8 ply in the UK, 8 ply in Australia).
