- The shawl can be made with any kind of yarn. With a heavier weight yarn you’ll need less rows to get it nicely sized. Be sure to match the needle size with your yarn. - The shawl should have a nice smooth drape. Use bigger needles when the shawl turns out to be stiff and/or not pleasant to wear. - I used stitch markers between each repeat to make it easier to keep up with the pattern and each individual repeat. What you will need: - 3.5mm (US size 4) knitting needles. Circular or straight needles, that’s up to you. - For this pattern I’ve used 24 colours of fingering weight pima cotton (100g/ 400m). (De Draadzaak yarn advent 2021, https://www.dedraadzaak.nl/en_GB/). - I’ve used 480 grams in total. Please feel free to use any kind of (fingering weight) yarn. - Darning needle - Stitch markers - Blockingmats, wires and/or pins to block your finished piece.
