This spooky Halloween pattern is perfect for all the fall vibes! There is a chart included for the colour work and also a more thorough step by step video guide too if you should need it.
I would say this knitting pattern is suitable for advanced beginners / intermediate knitters. You just need to know how to cast on, bind off, knit stitch, purl stitch, how to seam, knit 2 together, purl 2 together, how to pick up stitches and work with 2 different colours.
The sizes available are XS - S, S - M, M - L, L - XL, which are suitable for busts 30 - 46 inches.
There are photos throughout the pattern to help you.
You will need:
- approx. 1880 - 3080 yards DK weight yarn in black / main colour (I used Wendy supreme DK)
- approx. 80 yards DK weight yarn in orange / contrasting colour (I used knitcraft everyday UK)
The pattern is worked using 2 strands of DK yarn held together.
- 6mm straight needles. You could work back and forth on circular needles if you don't have straight ones.
- 7mm circular knitting needles (or you could use DPNs)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch markers
- Measuring tape
