Theia Cable Cushion

Beschrijving

This modern soft cushion is created using the basic stitches: wide stripes knitted in stockinette stitch alternated with different cable patterns give the cushion nice texture and a chic classic look.
Cushion is worked flat in two pieces and seamed using mattress stitch. There is a cable-pattern on the front and stockinette stitch on the back.

Finished size: approx. 16" [41 cm] square, stretched slightly to fits 18" [45 cm]-square cushion pad
Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials
Yarn used: West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft Shetland Colours (Aran; 182 yds [166 m] per 100g skein; 100% Shetland wool); 2 skeins in Reawick 1010.
You can also use any other Aran (4, Medium, Worsted, Afghan,) weight yarn.

Needles used: size 8 [5 mm] straight
Other supplies: Cable needle, tapestry needle, 18 x 18" [45 x 45 cm] cushion pad.
