Tate the Tiger

Say hello to Tate the Tiger, a friendly tiger who can't wait to hang out with you and his best friend Rain the Rabbit. Tate’s overalls are worked in rows for the top and then in the round, they also have a little gap on the back to fit Tate's tail and can be removed. To finish his look, Tate carries a little fish bag, just like his best friend Rain the Rabbit.

The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Tate the Tiger measures approx. 15cm (5.9in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below and working with the “x” single crochet technique (yarn under, yarn over). Make sure to also start the other stitches with yarn under to keep the same tension throughout.

Materials:
- Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4, 100% cotton yarn, 50g / 170m, Orange (approx. 16g), Brown (approx. 4g), Off-white (approx. 8g), Pink (approx. 1g), Teal (approx. 8g), Yellow (approx. 3g), White (leftover yarn)
- 2.5mm crochet hook
- 8mm safety eyes
- White embroidery thread and needle
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors

Techniques: Magic Ring, Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Increase, Invisible Decrease, Front and Back Loop Only, Color Changes, Embroidery.
