You can make this pattern with any material of your choice. If you make the blanket with 100% cotton, it will be very heavy, and might become “holey” if used vertically. If you make it with very fuzzy yarn, the pattern might not stand out so much.
The blanket is made with Scheepjes Colour Crafter, which is a gorgeous budget 100% premium acrylic yarn, with silky soft touch. Colour Crafter is available in 93 colours. Colour Crafter (1 ball is 100 grams). In these colours: 4 balls white (1005), 2 balls grey (1063), 1 ball sand (1218), 1 ball green (2014), 1 ball yellow (1709), 1 ball orange (1711), 1 ball brown (1029).
Tools: 4 mm and 3,5 mm hook, scissors, needle, perhaps a stitch marker.
