October has once again flown by with many crochet activities as I have made fun crochet patterns for myself and loved ones for cute and warm Halloween accessories. It's not much busier than normal, but with writing out the patterns and school work, it was still a busy month. But.... what's cuter than a baby dressed up as a candy? I was asked to make a Candy Corn hat for a 6-month-old baby and wanted to share the pattern with you. The hat is cute and easy, 20.3 centimeters long from tip to edge and with a 43.2 cm long edge when fully stretched. You use front post double crochet and back post double crochet, making the brim stretchy and the hat not easily fall off the head.

Hook size: 4.5 mm
Yarn: Worsted weight #4 yarn in white, yellow, and orange colors.
