Lotus Mandala Blanket - Morale Fiber

Approximately a loooong time ago, my very first blog post on the Morale Fiber Blog was the free crochet pattern of this Lotus Mandala Throw. It is a doily-like project that I originally designed in 2014, first published in 2015, and that forms the basis for my very popular Lotus Mandala vest and duster.
I wanted to bring back this blanket and improve it a bit, because the design and the written instructions for this mandala motif have grown tremendously since the first publication and I never actually adjusted the original.

Crochet hook of 5.5 mm
Yarn thickness suitable for 5 mm or 6 mm needles, in different colors, approximately 900 to 1000 meters total
The blanket measures approximately 9 cm in diameter after row 3
The final size will be approximately 135 cm in diameter.
