Dandelion Puff Sweater

Details

Dandelion Puff is made top down in one piece with an invisible seam. Make it with acrylic or wool for a long sleeve winter sweater. Or with a cotton (mix) for a short sleeve spring/ summer tee. In this design I use surface crochet to create the dandelion puffs in the open yoke part, see picture on the left. For this I made a video tutorial. You can also choose to make it without the surface crochet, see picture on the right. The surface crochet is added at the end so you can always frog and change the color of the dandelion puffs if you wish. The yoke has an extended back so that this round yoke design has a better fit, a bit higher at the back than at the front. It is designed to have some ease on the bust and has no waist shaping. I will give options for short sleeves and how to add some waist shaping.
This pattern also includes a section on how to personalize the sweater to your specific measurements and desired fit.

Yarn: Zeeman Royal, 100% acrylic (241 m/ 100 g, 264 yd/ 3.53 oz) or similar Aran weight with which gauge can be obtained.
Yarn sub used by testers: Durable Cosy Fine, Lion Brand Pound of Love, Stylecraft special Aran, Paintbox Cotton Aran, Scheepjes Chunky Monkey Crochet
Hook: 5 mm (H-8).

CC (white): same as for the long sleeves.

level: ●●●○○ The surface crochet can be a bit difficult (level ●●●●●) at first, however all testers, including for whom this was the first time, managed to succeed.
