This top is crocheted top down and in one piece. Therefore, you don't need to sew anything to achieve the result. Each row starts with 1ch and then immediately the stitch described as the first stitch. For example, let's take row 4. Here it says to crochet 1CL. That means, crochet 1ch and then immediately crochet a cluster in the stitch. So you don't crochet 3ch or 2ch first, but directly a Cluster as described in the list of "used stitches". Close all rows with 1sl st in the 1st ch you crocheted to start the row unless otherwise stated. Used stitches: sc (single crochet), ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), dc (double crochet), sc2tog (single crochet two together), Cluster (3 double crochets worked together in one stitch), FPdc (front post double crochet), BPdc (back post double crochet), Picot (3ch, close with 1sl st in the 1st ch).
