Details
Trui Méja is a beautiful summer sweater designed by teacher Sas, in collaboration with Rieneke from the Knitting Farm. This sweater is crocheted with the soft and airy Sandnes Garn Line yarn, a combination of cotton, viscose, and linen. Sandnes Garn is a renowned yarn manufacturer from Norway, founded in 1888. The wool for Sandnes Garn comes directly from sheep and is carefully washed, carded, and spun before being processed into beautiful balls.
The design of sweater Méja emerged from a challenge to create a summer sweater with the Sandnes Garn Line yarn. After some experimenting and adjustments, the sweater was finally created. The pattern is available in the book "Crocheting with teacher Sas" and as a standalone digital crochet pattern in teacher Sas' webshop. When you purchase the crochet kit at the Knitting Farm, you will also receive the Teacher Sas label to complete your sweater.
The sweater is easy to customize and the crochet pattern provides detailed instructions. With the accompanying video, teacher Sas explains how to adjust the sweater to your size. You can choose a sweater with or without sleeves, and the length of the sleeves can also be adjusted to your liking.
