Details
This pattern is for a lacy top with open shoulders and a wide (peplum) lower part. The top is made top down. Because of the stretchy yarn the top will have a negative ease, which gives a nice fit to the bust and the waist. It is designed to have a close fit on the bust. It contains detailed written instructions, crochet charts and photo instructions. Also options to make the sleeves longer or to turn it in to a dress.
Yarn: Drops Baby alpaca Silk (167 m/183 yrd 50 gr/1.76 ounces 70% alpaca – 30% silk) or similar Sport (to fingering) weight yarn (12 wpi) with which gauge can be obtained. With choosing the right yarn you should keep in mind that the yarn should be stretchy to have a nice fit. Yarn sub: Nako Estiva with hook size 3mm.
Top: 5-5-5-6-6-7-7-7 skeins or 750-780-830-870-1000-1050-1100-1150 m/ 820-850-910-950-1100-1150-1200-1250 yrd
Long sleeves: 210-210-220-220-240-240-260-260 m/ 230-230-240-240-260-260-280-280 yrd extra per 20 cm of sleeve (3/4 sleeve).
