Details

For this design I used various techniques and structures to create the stripes. Due to the variation in the pattern, you won't want to stop knitting but you'll want to keep moving on to the next section.

This scarf was originally designed for the Lets Get Creative Magazine (in collaboration with Borgo de Pazzi yarn).

Maartje has written her first knitting book in 2022. The book, titled 'Ik brei, jij breit, wij breien' is full of 12 patterns to keep yourself warm.
She developed her knitting skills in Ireland where she lived with her family for several years. There she learned new techniques such as top-down knitting, brioche, and cable knitting, and also knitted her first pair of socks in Dublin. Back in the Netherlands, she designed patterns for magazines and yarn manufacturers. She gives workshops in knitting techniques throughout the country.
