This gorgeous crochet pattern is made in 4 wide panels, each has a different colour. Every panel has 9 strips. For Panel 1, the strips are crocheted from the bottom to the top. The second panel is started in the top of the first. The third panel starts at the bottom again, where you finished panel 2. Panel 4 is the last and starts at the top again. There’s no sewing involved, nor will you ever have more than one ball of yarn attached to your blanket. The blanket is made with the corner to corner crochet technique.

This pattern is made with Scheepjes Colour Crafter. Colour Crafter is a nice budget yarn made by 100 % premium acrylic with a silky soft touch. Colour Crafter is available in 93 colours, and it comes in 100 gram balls with 300 meter for each ball. You will use double held yarn for this project, than it will become 130 by 150 centimeters. You need: 8 balls of white (1005), 2 balls blue (1117), 2 balls yellow (1114), 2 balls green (2015) and two balls red (1010). Please mind: the pictures in this pattern are made with SINGLE ball, not held double, to make them easier to understand. You will still get a gorgeous blanket this way, but it will be a lot smaller. Please hold two strands of yarn together for this project always.
If you make a bigger project (for example a bigger blanket), you’ll need more yarn.
You will also need a 5 mm crochet hook, a 4,5 mm crochet hook for the border, a needle, scissors, measuring tape and a stitchmarker.
